BuyTile.com uses UPS or FedEx for smaller orders and independent freight companies for larger orders. While we will of course try to ship your order expeditiously, shipping usually occurs and is completed within a frame of 7-12 business days.  Your order may arrive much sooner. You can track your order by using the “track your order” link on our website with your order reference number, or by calling one of our customer service representatives. As soon as your order ships, you will be supplied with a tracking number or PRO number so you can track your shipment. BuyTile.com will ship your order anywhere within the lower 48 states and you will see your shipping charges for standard shipping when you checkout. Shipping charges are based on the weight of your order and your location. We can also ship to Canada, Alaska and Hawaii but please call for International shipping rates. Buytile.com cannot fulfill any orders going outside the lower 48 states unless special shipping rates are discussed and agreed upon by both Buytile.com and the customer. Please note that details about your shipment obtained from sales representatives over the phone are our best approximations and are subject to change. To guarantee your ship time and shipping method, please discuss upgrading to expedited or guaranteed service with one of our sales representatives. Express or guaranteed service is not available for all products. Be advised that lead times are subject to change based on availability. Please do not schedule your installation until all of your tile is received. Speak with a customer service representative to communicate your timing needs.

We understand that your project may be time sensitive. If your order is backordered or will otherwise be delayed, you will be contacted by BuyTile.com and will have the option to cancel. Please discuss any timing issues that you may have with a customer support representative by calling 888.355.TILE or emailing sales@buytile.com.

Sometimes breakage occurs during shipping. Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt and confirm that you have received the correct product and quantity and notify us immediately if it seems you have received the wrong tile, the wrong amount, or if anything is broken. Buytile.com cannot accept any returns or exchanges after thirty days of receipt or after product has been compromised by the customer. Any material that arrives broken should be noted on the waybill or bill of lading (provided by the courier at the time of delivery) and BuyTile.com must be notified as soon as possible. BuyTile.com will replace any material broken in transit at no cost if it is reported and proof of damage is supplied within five business days of receipt. Also please note that a small amount of breakage is often normal, and a 10% overage should cover these breakages. Breakage or damage must be reported in detail within three business days. This means that the quantity of material damaged and the nature of the damage must be reported to BuyTile.com. In good faith we offer to replace any broken material, but hope you will only request what is necessary for the completion of your projection. Decorative items, listellos, pebbles, and metal will always be replaced if any cracking or breakage occurs.

Larger tile shipments over 500 lbs. require delivery by private trucking firms (common carriers). These companies will call you in advance to arrange a delivery time. Please make sure you use a valid, working day-time phone number when placing your order, especially if it is a large order. This is curbside delivery only.  Buytile.com will give you the name and phone number of the company that is carrying your tile, as well as your tracking or PRO number. If you require assistance communicating with your trucking firm, BuyTile.com will be happy to communicate with them for you. For these types of orders please make sure you have made arrangements in advance to have someone available (contractor, friend, etc.) to help you bring the items into your home and to inspect your order upon arrival.
